A zero-install photobooth experience built for events, parties, and gatherings. Guests open a URL, take photos, and get a QR code to their shots instantly โ no app, no account, no friction.
How it works
Guests scan a QR code at the event โ no download, no sign-in.
The browser activates the camera. Shoot solo or with the whole group.
Photos upload to the cloud in real-time. Each shot gets its own shareable link.
A live public gallery captures every moment from the night, in one place.

About the project
Snapbooth started from a simple question: why does setting up a photobooth at an event require proprietary hardware, a subscription, or someone's personal device locked in a corner? The web already has everything needed โ camera access, cloud storage, real-time delivery.
The entire stack is zero-build: plain HTML, vanilla JS modules, and Netlify serverless functions
for the Cloudinary upload pipeline. Each event runs as its own isolated deployment with
a private GitHub repo, its own Cloudinary environment, and a dedicated subdomain under
snapbooth.photos.
The architecture keeps the codebase small and auditable, makes client deployments reproducible, and keeps all guest photo data scoped to the event โ nothing shared, nothing leaked.
Whether it's a private party, brand activation, or community gathering โ each deployment is custom-configured for your event and live within the day.
